Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in Makati, Philippines is seeking a qualified audit professional to validate and improve energy reporting across hotels and offices. The role includes confirming data accuracy, guiding corrections, and driving process improvements within a global governance context.

You will collaborate with hotel/office finance teams, engineers, and ESG auditors, supporting broader ESG assurance activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education.
• 2+ years progressive work-related experience with demonstrated proficiency and understanding in one or more functions related to the position.
• ESG audit experience preferred.
• Strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Energy reporting accuracy - Validate the accuracy of hotel and office energy reporting by obtaining supporting evidence such as invoices from utility suppliers and meter readings.
• Energy reporting adjustments - Advise hotels/offices of corrections and verify adjustments have been made.
• Energy reporting process and control improvements - Recommend data/input/process improvements to prevent future errors.
• Tracking and Reporting - Maintain testing results, highlight recurring issues, and prepare monthly reports.
