Job summary

ISS STOXX Sustainability is seeking a Sustainability Advisor to support clients in understanding and responding to sustainability risks and opportunities. You will help improve environmental and social disclosures, align reporting with frameworks, and communicate insights to management and boards.

You will engage with clients to enhance disclosures, monitor evolving standards, and contribute to thought leadership while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Economics, Public Policy, Law, Corporate Governance, or a related field.
• 0-5 years of relevant experience in research, advisory, consulting, corporate governance, business, finance, regulatory, policy, risk and compliance, sustainability, ESG, or other related roles.
• Fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is required.
• Familiarity with sustainability reporting frameworks and standards is an advantage.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Support clients on sustainability reporting and disclosures across industries.
• Manage a portfolio of clients with proactive engagement and timely responses.
• Build relationships with senior client executives and management teams with tailored guidance.
• Monitor developments in sustainability reporting standards, rating methodologies, and regulations.
• Develop client presentations, reports, and advisory deliverables.
