Job summary

HSBC is seeking an experienced Manager Operations for Equity Clearing and Settlements in the Philippines. The role focuses on ensuring margin settlement with CCPs and coordinating with the DCS Operations Cash team across locations.

The ideal candidate will have strong derivatives knowledge, risk & controls mindset, and a proven ability to deliver process improvements while managing multiple priorities.

Qualifications

• Experience with Exchange Traded Derivatives and Cleared OTC derivatives.
• Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and planning skills.
• Solid operational risk and control mindset with decision ability.
• Proven track record of high performance in prior roles.
• Experience interfacing with diverse teams across geographies.
• Ability to manage conflicting priorities and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily margin-related payments and withdrawals with CCPs.
• Process vouchers and ledger entries for interest and fees.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across locations to fix issues.
• Drive process improvements to reduce manual work.
• Represent the team in meetings when required.
• Deliver ad-hoc analysis and reporting to support business needs.
