ACCIONA in the Philippines seeks an experienced Equipment Supervisor to oversee operation, maintenance and performance of all heavy machinery used in earthworks.

You will supervise daily deployment, monitor operators for safety, conduct competency assessments, and report incidents to minimize downtime in a fast-paced construction environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 yrs of experience in equipment management and earthworks operations.
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment operations, maintenance and utilization.

• Conduct trade tests and competency assessments for new equipment operators prior to hiring.

Job Description

• Responsible for overseeing the operation, maintenance, utilization and performance of all equipment
• Supervise the daily operation, deployment and efficient utilization of construction equipment and machinery
• Monitor equipment operators to ensure safe and proper operation and promptly address and report any problem or concerns
• Ensure all equipment is properly maintained, operated safely and used in accordance with company procedures and manufacturer recommendations.
• Report, investigate and follow up on equipment related incidents, breakdowns and operational issues to minimize downtime
• Conduct trade test and competency assessments for new equipment operators to ensure they possess the required skill, knowledge and experience before hiring.

Required Skills and Competencies
