The role requires 2–5 years of hands-on experience, ability to read diagrams and manuals, and a strong focus on preventive maintenance and diagnostics. TESDA NCII/NCIII certification is an advantage, and coordination with operators is essential to identify and verify reported issues.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience as hydraulic or equipment mechanic in construction or quarry industries.
• TESDA NCII/NCIII certification in heavy equipment servicing is an advantage.
• Able to read hydraulic diagrams, service manuals, and equipment specs.
• Experience with preventive maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.
• Inspect hydraulic systems to identify leaks, damage, and abnormal operation.

Responsibilities

• Inspect hydraulic systems to identify defects, leaks, and abnormal operation.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment.
• Conduct hydraulic pressure testing and diagnostics.
• Replace damaged hoses, seals, fittings, and other components.
• Inspect equipment for oil leaks and worn components.

TESDA NCII/NCIII in Heavy Equipment Servicing

Job description

• At least 2-5 years of experience as a Hydraulic Mechanic or Equipment Mechanic, preferably in construction, quarry, or similar industries.
• TESDA NCII/NCIII Certification in Heavy Equipment Servicing or related qualification is an advantage.
• Knowledgeable in troubleshooting hydraulic leaks, low pressure, overheating, abnormal noise, slow movement, and loss of equipment power.
• Able to read and understand hydraulic diagrams, service manuals, and equipment specifications.
• With experience in preventive maintenance and repair of heavy equipment.
• Inspect hydraulic systems of heavy equipment to identify defects, leaks, damage, and abnormal operation
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on hydraulic equipment and components
• Conduct hydraulic pressure testing and diagnostic procedures to determine the cause of equipment malfunction
• Replace damaged or worn-out hoses, seals, O-rings, fittings, filters, and other hydraulic components
• Conduct regular inspection of equipment for oil leaks, loose connections, damaged hoses, and worn components
• Coordinate with equipment operators to identify and verify reported equipment problems.
