Job summary

Luxoft in Mexico is seeking an experienced Epic Cogito Database Administrator to support Epic's analytics and healthcare data platforms, including Clarity and Caboodle. This hands-on role focuses on SQL Server administration, ETL processes, and ensuring data security and availability.

You will optimize performance, manage SSIS packages, participate in on-call rotations, and collaborate with analysts and developers to keep production environments running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Administer and maintain Epic SQL Server databases, including Clarity and Caboodle environments.
• Monitor database health, performance, storage, and system capacity to ensure high availability.
• Execute, monitor, and troubleshoot ETL processes, ensuring successful data loads and SLA compliance.
• Perform backup, restore, disaster recovery, and failover activities.
• Optimize SQL Server performance through indexing, query tuning, and database maintenance.
• Design, maintain, and support SSIS packages for automated data integration workflows.
• Maintain database security, patching, authentication, and compliance with healthcare security standards.
• Collaborate with application analysts, infrastructure teams, and report developers to support production environments.
• Create and maintain operational documentation, runbooks, and recovery procedures.
• Participate in an on-call rotation supporting production environments.
