Job summary

onsemi in the Philippines is seeking a Technician/Engineer to set up new equipment and drive improvements in machine utilization, efficiency and quality.

You will train technicians, coordinate supplier changes, perform reject analyses, and maintain operating specifications and records as part of a hands-on maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of 5 year Electronics/Electrical/Mechanical technology course or equivalent.
• At least 2 years direct experience in Maintenance or Equipment Engineering.
• Preferably knowledgeable in automated test handler, testers and tape and reel equipment.
• Knowledgeable on statistical process control and problem solving methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Provide analyses and modification of equipment, which will lead to continuous improvement in machine utilization, efficiency, losses and quality.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers changes and modification for institutionalization.
• Performs analyses on visual/mechanical rejects.
• Set up equipment and train technicians and operators on its operations and functions.
• Generate/establish/write operating specifications.
• Generate and maintain reports and records.
