Job summary

Candidates should have a 5-year electronics/electrical/mechanical technology degree and at least 2 years in maintenance or equipment engineering, with knowledge of automated test handlers and tape-and-reel equipment.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in electronics/electrical/mechanical tech or equivalent
• Minimum 2 years direct maintenance or equipment engineering experience
• Knowledge of automated test handlers, testers, and tape-and-reel equipment; SPC and problem solving

Responsibilities

• Analyze and modify equipment to improve machine utilization and quality.
• Coordinate changes with suppliers to institutionalize improvements.
• Perform analyses on rejects and train technicians on equipment operations.
• Set up equipment and generate operating specifications and reports.
• Maintain records and generate performance reports.

Responsible for the set-up of new equipment and improving the overall equipment efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Provide analyses and modification of equipment, which will lead to continuous improvement in machine utilization, efficiency, losses and quality.
• Coordinate with equipment suppliers changes and modification for institutionalization.
• Performs analyses on visual/mechanical rejects.
• Set up equipment and train technicians and operators on its operations and functions.
• Generate/establish/write operating specifications.
• Generate and maintain reports and records.

Qualifications

• Education

• Experience
  • At least 2 years direct experience in Maintenance or Equipment Engineering
• Skills
