Job summary

First Balfour Inc is seeking an Environmental, Safety and Health Engineer to oversee ES&H in construction projects in the Philippines. The role includes coordinating environmental incident reports and ensuring compliance with government regulations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering and 3–5 years of construction ES&H experience, with preferred railway project exposure and BOSH/COSH training. On-site duties with a focus on safety.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil/Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• 3–5 years experience in construction with ES&H specialization.
• Experience in building and railway projects preferred.
• 40 hours (BOSH) and/or (COSH) Construction Safety Training.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate reports on environmental incidents, dangerous occurrences, injuries and accidents.
• Implement the Company's Environmental Management System.
• Monitor and prepare reports to government agencies like DENR.
• Conduct site induction, training forum and toolbox talks on ES&H.
• Assist the team with assessment and production of environmental and safety measures, method statements and reports.
