Job summary

BLU ENERGY seeks an Environmental Engineer to ensure compliance with PD 1586 and related regulations, and to manage pollution control permits and liaison with DENR-EMB offices. The role includes monitoring installations for air, noise, and water standards and supervising facility operation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Environmental Engineering or its equivalent.
• With at least 1 year relevant experience in Environmental Management.
• Computer literate and with good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with PD 1586, RA 6969, RA 8749, RA 9003, RA 9275 and IRRs.
• Attend to permit applications and renewals prior to construction or installation of pollution control facilities.
• Monitor installation/construction of pollution source and control facilities to meet air, noise and water standards.
• Supervise the operation and maintenance of pollution control facilities.
• Report breakdowns and completion/repair dates to the Authority.
