Job summary

Therma Luzon, Inc. seeks an experienced Senior Environmental Leader to establish and maintain corporate environmental policies across multiple sites, ensuring compliance with DENR permits and waste requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience in senior/regional environmental roles with multi-site oversight.
• Strong governance mindset and regulatory engagement skills.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant environmental field; master’s preferred.
• PCO certification or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain corporate environmental policies and standards across all assets.
• Provide governance oversight for compliance with DENR permits and hazardous waste requirements.
• Lead the environmental management system (ISO 14001–aligned) and risk controls at sites.
• Develop enterprise environmental risk registers and monitor risk controls.
• Manage incident reporting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Provide environmental leadership for new technologies including permitting readiness.
• Conduct or govern internal environmental audits and management reviews.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on operations.
• Mentor site and regional environmental personnel and support ESG reporting.
• Support due diligence for acquisitions, expansions, or major projects and regulator engagements.

Work Scope

• Establish and maintain corporate environmental policies, standards, and minimum requirements applicable across all TBG assets
• Provide governance oversight for compliance with ECCs, PTOs, hazardous waste requirements, SMR/CMR submissions, and other DENR permits
• Lead and continuously improve the corporate Environmental Management System (ISO 14001–aligned)
• Develop and maintain the enterprise environmental risk register and ensure risk controls are implemented at site level
• Govern environmental incident reporting, investigation, root cause analysis, and corrective action effectiveness
• Provide environmental leadership for new and emerging technologies (e.g., BESS) including permitting readiness and risk assessment
• Conduct or govern internal environmental audits and management reviews
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact to TBG operations
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to site and regional environmental personnel
• Support ESG, sustainability, and environmental performance reporting
• Support due diligence activities for acquisitions, expansions, or major projects
• Participate in regulator, LGU, and stakeholder engagements when required
• Support site-level environmental officers during inspections, investigations, and compliance challenges

Qualifications

• At least 5 years in a senior, regional, or corporate environmental role
• Demonstrated experience managing multi-site operations and engaging regulators
• Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
• Master’s Degree is an advantage
• DENR-accredited Pollution Control Officer (PCO) – required or must be obtained
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor / Implementer – preferred
