Job summary

Teradyne in the Philippines is seeking an entry-level Assembler to perform basic mechanical and electro-mechanical assembly under close supervision. You will work with hand tools, fixtures, and standard equipment to build components and subassemblies according to drawings and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic assembly and sub-assembly operations.
• Assemble components using hand tools and fixtures.
• Follow assembly drawings, visual aids, bills of materials, and SOPs.
• Inspect assembled parts and products to verify conformance to quality requirements.
• Report defects, material shortages, equipment issues, and process concerns.
• Accurately complete required production documentation and records.
• Maintain compliance with ESD, safety, quality, and manufacturing requirements.
• Support production schedules and team objectives to meet customer requirements.
• Participate in 5S, continuous improvement, and workplace organization activities.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Work cooperatively with peers, technicians, engineers, and supervisors to support operational goals.
