Job summary

JTI Manila is seeking an Entity Finance Specialist to ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance of the company's financial records and reporting. The role covers month‑end close, balance sheet reviews, statutory financial statements, and external audit coordination in line with IFRS and local requirements.

You will collaborate with Finance teams, GBS, and stakeholders to maintain strong controls, deliver timely reporting, and drive continuous process improvements for better business performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• CPA qualification preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, external audit, or entity finance within a multinational environment.
• Strong understanding of IFRS accounting standards and financial reporting requirements.

Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end closing activities performed by GBS and ensure timely resolution of accounting issues.
• Perform analytical reviews of Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss accounts to identify risks, variances, and improvement opportunities.
• Review and prepare management and corporate accounting reports, including quarterly CFO reporting requirements.
• Lead the preparation of statutory financial statements and ensure compliance with IFRS and local reporting requirements.
• Coordinate external audit activities and manage audit requests in partnership with Deloitte and internal stakeholders.
• Conduct monthly balance sheet analysis and account reconciliation reviews, highlighting key business and financial risks.
• Partner with Tax, Treasury, Supply Chain, Sales Finance, and other functions on accounting, reporting, and compliance-related matters.
