Job summary

SB Finance, Inc. seeks a QA Manager to lead the enterprise-quality governance across IT initiatives, ensuring proactive risk mitigation prior to production deployments. You will manage the QA team and oversee end-to-end software testing across platforms and environments.

The role focuses on enterprise-level quality standards, governance, and QA capability, with responsibilities spanning portfolio oversight, people management, stakeholder interfaces, and strategic planning.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of work experience in QA/Testing leadership.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related IT field.
• Quality Assurance Certification(s) advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of QA management, project management and governance.
• Familiarity with SDLC, Agile, Scrum, and cloud environments.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define testing standards, entry/exit criteria, defect severity classification, and release gating controls.
• Audit compliance and establish release quality index.
• Monitor defect trends and implement preventive quality controls.
• Forecast capacity, allocate resources, and manage vendor performance; ensure budget adherence.
• Escalate delivery risks and represent development in governance forums.
• Oversee QA testing initiatives, activities, and use of testing tools and templates.
