Job summary

Coca-Cola Europacific Aboitiz Philippines, Inc. seeks an Engineering Team Leader - Automation to oversee automation-related installations, maintenance, and service across our production lines.

You will manage technicians and contractors, ensuring quality, safety, and timely execution of planned and corrective maintenance. The role emphasizes people leadership, continuous improvement projects, and implementing systems to optimize operations.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years as Automation Technician/Specialist in food manufacturing or FMCG.
• Degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics or related tech/engineering field.
• Demonstrated leadership and clear communication skills.
• Knowledge of automation and electrical safety standards.
• Basic knowledge of project management.
• Experience handling improvement projects.
• Familiarity with RCA tools: 5 Whys and BDA.
• Understanding of Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment (HIRA).
• Preferably registered master electrician, electronics technician or electronics/electrical engineer.
• At least 3 years of supervisory experience in manufacturing is a plus.

The Engineering Team Leader – Automation is the overall accountable in ensuring all installation, maintenance, modification, overhaul and service, and repair of instruments, PLC’s and SCADA’s software and hardware are provided with quality service. Ensuring proper execution of all planned and corrective maintenance work and productive utilization of technicians, and contractors reporting directly.

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years of work experience as an Automation Technician/Specialist related position in a food manufacturing industry or FMCG

• Knowledgeable on Automation and Electrical safety practices and standards
• Basic knowledge on Project Management
• With experienced in handling improvement projects
• With basic knowledge on RCA tools: 5 Whys and BDA
• With basic understanding of HIRA (Hazard identification and Risk Assessment)
• Preferably Registered Master Electrician or Electronics Technician or Electronics Engineer or Electrical Engineer
• At least 3 years supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment is an advantage
