Reap is seeking an Engineering Manager, Treasury to lead the team building global money movement systems across regions and currencies. You will stay hands-on in architecture while guiding engineers and collaborating with the Head of Treasury and product org to translate strategy into production-ready infrastructure.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience in treasuries, ledgers, or FX, with 1–2 years in leadership.
• Crypto wallet architecture knowledge and production wallet/custody integrations.
• Broad fluency across finance stack: assets, fiat currencies, blockchains, networks.
• Experience building API-driven global financial systems.
• Strong problem-solving with robust, scalable solutions.
• Deep backend experience across layers of systems.
• Strong technical judgment balancing depth with product needs.
• Excellent written communication and teamwork.
• Ability to work in high-velocity, ambiguous environments.
• Main stack: TypeScript, Node.js, NestJS, AWS.

Responsibilities

• Own the Treasury engineering domain, assets, rails, and global ledger.
• Lead design, development, and operation of core treasury systems.
• Oversee wallet and custody integrations from evaluation to production.
• Understand Reap's clients, product suite, and hubs to guide technical calls.
• Help build foundational systems powering Reap's ambitious growth.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, design, finance, and operations.
