Qualifications

• Experience designing and implementing large-scale distributed systems.
• Proven track record building and managing high-performing software teams.
• Experience driving design and architecture across multiple subsystems with senior peers.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate discussions and lead decision making on engineering for the team.
• Define and execute engineering plans for owned areas.
• Drive engineering best practices across the team.
• Maintain production system hygiene (engineering and processes).
• Ensure health of business outcomes owned by the team.
• Hire, mentor, and retain a best-in-class engineering team.
• Manage stakeholders including business, product, operations and clients/vendors.
