Job summary

Mang Inasal Philippines Inc. in Marilao, Bulacan, is seeking an Engineering Assistant Manager to oversee daily plant engineering activities. The role focuses on refrigeration, air, power, and steam systems, with emphasis on preventive maintenance, safety, and TPM.

The successful candidate will lead a team, analyze performance, and drive continuous improvement projects onsite.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (mechanical preferred).
• PRC licensed engineer is a plus.
• At least four years of experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of process equipment, refrigeration, ventilation, power, water, steam and TPM.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Willing to work onsite in Marilao, Bulacan.

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance to internal and external auditing bodies (structural, wastewater, fire protection, environment, health and safety).

Job description

The Engineering Assistant Manager will be responsible in managing the daily plant engineering activities that include the supervision, analysis, recommendation and standardization of the plant’s refrigeration system, compress air system, power system, and steam system; implements preventive maintenance of equipment.

• Performs preventive maintenance of equipment and manages daily plant engineering activities

• Implement development on process plant systems and equipment preventive maintenance

• Ensure compliance to all internal and external auditing bodies (structural, wastewater, fire protection, environment, health and safety)

• Ensures area contribution to consistent quality and safety standards for finished products and the workplace. Maintains facilities, utilities, and areas to conform to sanitation and safety standards

• Support engineering sustainability initiatives focused on resource and energy efficiency

Job Qualifications

• Graduate of Bachelor's Degree in any Engineering course preferably Mechanical Engineering

• PRC Licensed Engineer is a plus

• At least four (4) years of experience in any Manufacturing Industry

• Strong knowledge in process equipment, refrigeration, ventilating systems, electrical power, water, steam, compressed air supply systems, and other rotating equipment operation and total productive maintenance (TPM)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Willing to work onsite in Marilao, Bulacan
