SM Development Corporation is seeking a Finishing Assistant Manager to support the Finishing Lead in executing, monitoring, and documenting finishing works for residential, parking, and common areas to meet turnover, safety, and quality requirements.
Lead the Turnover Assistance Team (TOAST), oversee documentary close-out, and prepare status reports while coordinating with external construction management teams and contractors.
Your Role, Your Impact
The Finishing Assistant Manager provides on-ground and administrative support to the Finishing Lead in the execution, monitoring, and documentation of all finishing-related works for residential, parking, and common areas. This role ensures timely coordination, verification, and reporting of tasks needed to meet turnover, safety, and quality requirements of the project.
Lead and manage the assigned Turnover Assistance Team (TOAST) to ensure residential units reach Full Acceptance (FA) status.
Oversee the documentary close-out of projects and ensure compliance with company standards.
Prepare and review reports on the status of residential units and project progress.
Coordinate with engaged External Construction Management teams, contractor representatives, and other project staff to ensure smooth operations.
Reports to: Project Management Assistant Manager / Project Management Manager
Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress of unit deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas.
Support the preparation, verification, and submission of turnover documentation.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on day-to-day project activities.
Track progress reports, cost updates, and scope changes for endorsement to the Project Manager.
Prepare draft project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for review and submission.
Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
Assist in identifying risks/issues and escalate to the Project Manager for resolution.
Perform assigned tasks and provide administrative and technical support for smooth project execution
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
Professional License (Civil Engineer or Architect) is an advantage but not strictly required.
Minimum of 3-5 years' experience in construction, engineering, or project supervision.
Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic scheduling software.
Ability to work under pressure and willingness to be mentored into higher project leadership roles.
