Job summary

SMDC is seeking an Assistant Finishing Manager to support the Project Manager in coordinating, monitoring, and executing project activities for timely, safe, and quality delivery of residential, parking, and common areas.

You will assist in contractor supervision, documentation, reporting, and compliance monitoring while gaining exposure to higher-level project leadership responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• Professional license in Civil Engineering or Architecture is advantageous but not required.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction, engineering, or project supervision.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools, MS Office, and basic scheduling software.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in monitoring progress of unit deliverables for residential, parking, and common areas.
• Support the preparation, verification, and submission of turnover documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and consultants on day-to-day project activities.
• Track progress reports, cost updates, and scope changes for endorsement to the Project Manager.
• Prepare draft project reports, meeting minutes, and presentations for review and submission.
• Conduct site inspections to monitor compliance with safety, housekeeping, and quality standards.
• Assist in identifying risks/issues and escalate to the Project Manager for resolution.
• Perform assigned tasks and provide administrative and technical support for smooth project execution.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED
