Job summary

Analog Devices, Inc. in Cavite, Philippines, is seeking a Reliability Engineer who will plan and execute stress tests for new products and manufacturing changes, and drive corrective actions using structured problem solving.

You will work with cross‑functional teams, perform reliability calculations (MTTF, MTBF, FIT), develop qualification plans, and support customers with reliability inquiries. A BS in engineering and 2+ years in semiconductor environments is expected.

Qualifications

  • BS in EE, ECE, Materials, Physics or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years semiconductor industry experience in packaging, wafer fabrication, test or device physics.
  • Experience leading structured problem‑solving teams with Six Sigma and 8D methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute qualification plans, reliability evaluations and risk assessments.
  • Perform reliability calculations (MTTF, MTBF, FIT, failure rate modeling).
  • Progress product/technology through development cycle.
  • Lead structured problem‑solving teams using Six Sigma and 8D methods.
  • Communicate qualification requirements in a cross‑functional environment.

Primary Function

The role of a Reliability Engineer is to plan and execute stress test plans for new product releases, product revisions, manufacturing changes, and reliability monitoring. The Reliability Engineer also assists in the root cause analysis of qualification failures and drives appropriate corrective and preventive actions using structured problem‑solving methods.

Qualifications/Skill Set

BS EE, ECE, Materials, Physics, or related field. With minimum 2 years semiconductor industry experience in packaging, wafer fabrication, test, design, or device physics. Familiarity with industry standards, MIL-STD-883, JESD-47, JESD-94, J-STD-020, AEC‑Q100, etc Experience leading structured problem‑solving teams using six sigma methodologies and 8D’s Proficient in technical writing, project management and independent research Possess continuous improvement mindset

Roles and Responsibilities

Develop and execute qualification plans, reliability evaluations, and risk assessments. Performing reliability statistical calculations, such as MTTF, MTBF, FIT, and failure rate modeling. Progressing a product/technology through the product development cycle. Leading structured problem‑solving teams using six sigma, 8D methodologies. Communicating and interpreting qualification requirements within a cross‑functional environment. Identifying and planning for application specific mission profiles. Supporting internal/external customers with general reliability related inquiries.

For positions requiring access to technical data, Analog Devices, Inc. may have to obtain export licensing approval from the U.S. Department of Commerce – Bureau of Industry and Security and/or the U.S. Department of State – Directorate of Defense Trade Controls. As such, applicants for this position – except US Citizens, US Permanent Residents, and protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3) – may have to go through an export licensing review process.
