Job summary

Ampleon is seeking an Engineer, Process in Assembly Engineering to sustain and improve Assembly Midline-Mechanical Back End manufacturing processes. You will ensure stable production, high quality and implement productivity and cost-reduction initiatives.

The role covers Singulation, Molding, Taping/AOI, Final Visual Inspection, and related assembly processes. Candidates should have at least 3 years in process engineering and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant Process Engineering experience in Singulation, Molding, Trim and Form, Taping/AOI.
• Knowledgeable in Disco package Singulation and Molding.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Resolve day-to-day process engineering issues affecting production.
• Drive yield improvement, process optimization, and cost reduction initiatives.
• Update assembly process specifications and ensure implementation.
• Perform risk analysis/FMEA and ensure adherence to quality standards.
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Prepare project status updates and technical reports.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives for yield, cycle time, quality and productivity.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering teams.

Job Description:

You will be the Engineer, Process in Assembly Engineering where you will be responsible for sustaining and continuously improving the Assembly Midline-Mechanical Back End manufacturing processes. The role ensures stable production, high product quality, and successful implementation of productivity and cost reduction initiatives. Assembly Processes include Saw and Trim Singulation, Debar/Dejunk Lead Conditioning, Molding, Microvision/NNI AOI and Taping, Final Visual Inspection, Molding, Sealing/Glue Cure, Laser Marking.

• Resolves day-to-day process engineering issues affecting production. Provide technical decisions and engineering dispositions.
• Drives yield improvement, process optimization, manufacturing robustness, and improvements to address internal and external customer concerns and complaints, including material issues, by performing engineering validations, buy-offs, evaluations, and qualifications
• Generates, defines and updates assembly process specification and ensures implementation.
• Performs risk analysis/FMEA and ensures adherence to quality systems standards and procedures
• Performs root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions. Ensure compliance with customer specifications, quality standards, and manufacturing requirements.
• Prepare and present project status updates, technical reports, and executive reviews.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives focused on yield, cycle time, productivity, quality, and cost reduction for project deliverables
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Product Engineering, and Manufacturing Excellence teams

We are looking for someone who has the following background and capabilities:

• Graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering or an equivalent Engineering course
• Must have at least three (3) years relevant experience in Process Engineering, handling critical processes in Singulation, Molding, Trim and Form, Taping/AOI
• Knowledgeable in Disco package Singulation and Molding
• Good oral and written communication skills
