Qualifications

• Strong experience in engine maintenance and inspection.
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical and electrical systems.
• Ability to work non-standard hours including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain vehicles to ensure they are operational.
• Complete preventive maintenance like tune-ups and oil changes.
• Assist in repairs of mechanical and electrical system failures.
• Conduct test drives to verify vehicle serviceability.
• Maintain vehicle records for service and repairs.
• Troubleshoot equipment breakdowns and maintain supplies.

Skills

Experience as Engine Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Assist to keeps the equipment’s availability for use by inspecting and testing vehicles ;
• completing preventive maintenance such as, engine tune-ups, oil changes, tire
• rotation and changes, wheel balancing, replacing filters
• Assist Engine Mechanic in maintaining vehicle functional condition by listening to
• operator complaints; conducting inspections; repairing engine failures; repairing
• mechanical and electrical systems malfunctions; replacing parts and components;
• repairing body damage
• Assist in verifies vehicle service ability by conducting test drives; adjusting controls and systems
• Maintains vehicle appearance by cleaning, washing, and painting.
• Maintains vehicle records by recording service and repairs.
• Keeps shop equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting
• breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
• Keeps supplies ready by inventorying stock; placing orders; verifying receipt.
