Job summary

Amazon Data Services Spain, S.L. is seeking a Data Center Construction Manager to lead multi-disciplinary teams across electrical, mechanical, and civil domains for new data center builds.

You will own scope, schedule, and budget, interfacing with general contractors to drive on-time, safe, and cost-effective delivery. Join a fast-paced, highly collaborative group focused on energy-efficient infrastructure and scalable data center operations across AWS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
• Experience taking new designs from exploration to deployment.
• Proficiency with MS Excel, Word, and Windows OS.
• Experience with power management and power monitoring systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction activities for data center builds and capital projects at a designated site.
• Direct interface with general contractors during bidding, award, and closeout phases.
• Collaborate with vendors to deliver high-quality project turnovers and ensure schedule adherence.
• Lead bid analyses and negotiations with contractors; prepare scope and RFPs.
• Manage capital requests, change orders, and invoicing; track project budget.
