Job summary

Verkada is hiring a UI engineer to build interfaces for embedded devices within our access control line. You will translate the same polished UX from web and mobile into constrained hardware, shaping a UI framework for Verkada screen devices now and in the future.

You’ll join a startup within a startup, enjoying ownership and collaboration with engineers and designers to deliver intuitive, high-quality user experiences across devices. Onsite work is required, five days a week.

Qualifications

• BS or a graduate degree in Computer Science, Maths, Engineering, or science.
• 3+ years of experience in UI development on embedded devices, video games, and/or mobile applications.
• Android mobile application development experience preferred but optional.

Responsibilities

• Self-motivated problem solver tackling large, complex problems with no clear answers.
• Teach and learn by taking technical ownership of major product components.
• Grow with a fast-growing startup by embracing new challenges daily.
