Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Extensive frontend framework experience (React/Angular/Vue/Ember).
  • Strong HTML/CSS/JS/TypeScript and modern frontend tooling.
  • Experience designing scalable frontend architectures for complex apps.
  • Experience with cloud platforms and RESTful APIs.
  • Strong security, accessibility, and responsive design knowledge.
  • Experience with state management and data visualization is a plus.

Web UI Software Engineer (Senior/Staff Level)

Job Description

Bridge the physical and digital worlds! Join us in building the web applications that power intelligent, connected embedded platforms. As a Senior or Staff Web UI Software Engineer with architectural responsibilities, you’ll play a key role in designing and developing scalable, secure, and high-performance Web UI that integrates with Analog Devices’ innovative hardware and embedded systems. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver end-to-end solutions that enable data-driven insights, device management, and seamless cloud-to-edge integration. Your primary responsibility will be the design and development of intuitive, responsive, and robust frontend applications, ensuring outstanding user experiences and seamless interaction with backend and embedded systems.


Responsibilities:


  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and reliable frontend web applications for embedded and connected systems.

  • Define and lead frontend software architecture, ensuring alignment with product requirements and long-term platform strategy.

  • Collaborate with backend, embedded software, hardware, and systems engineering teams to define APIs and software interfaces for seamless integration.

  • Develop user interfaces for device provisioning, telemetry visualization, data processing, and remote management, focusing on usability and accessibility.

  • Optimize frontend applications for performance, scalability, responsiveness, and maintainability.

  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to other engineers, fostering a culture of innovation and engineering excellence.

  • Participate in code reviews and architecture discussions to uphold high standards of software quality and UI/UX design.

  • Stay current with industry trends, emerging frontend technologies, and design patterns to continuously improve frontend and system architecture.


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.

  • Extensive experience in frontend software development using frameworks such as React, Angular, Vue.js, Ember.js, or similar.

  • Proven experience designing and implementing scalable and maintainable frontend architectures for complex applications.

  • Proficiency with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript) and frontend build tools (Webpack, Babel, etc.).

  • Experience or working knowledge of integrating frontend applications with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and RESTful APIs.

  • Strong understanding of web security, accessibility, and responsive design principles.

  • Experience with state management, client-side routing, and data visualization libraries (e.g., Redux, React Router, D3.js).

  • Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in software architecture and design patterns relevant to frontend development.


Nice to Have:


  • Experience working with embedded systems or hardware-integrated software from the frontend perspective.

  • Familiarity with real-time data acquisition, edge computing, or IoT platforms and visualizing their data in web UIs.

  • Knowledge of hardware communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, etc.) and their representation in UI.

  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for frontend applications and infrastructure as code.

  • Contributions to open-source frontend projects or active GitHub repositories.

  • Familiarity with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

  • Experience in using GenAI Tools for UI development and prototyping.
