Job summary

Thales Group in Makati, Philippines, seeks a Software Engineer to deliver embedded software for Gemalto smart card SIM products. You will design, implement, and validate OS and applications, contributing to the platform while adhering to delivery standards.

The role requires 2–6 years of embedded experience, proficiency in C/C++/assembly, and strong communication skills in English, with occasional travel outside the Philippines. This is a hybrid position based in Makati.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical/Electronics/Computer Engineering or related field.
• 2–6 years of experience as a Software Engineer in embedded environments.
• Proficiency in Assembly, C, C++, Java, or Visual Basic.
• Experience with microprocessor/microcontroller architecture preferred.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Develop embedded software for Gemalto smart card SIM products (GSM, 3G, and CDMA).
• Design, implement, and validate OS, applications and electrical profiles within a project team, following standards.
• Improve platform and development methodology through prototyping and improvements.
