The ideal candidate is a Klaviyo specialist who can independently manage the channels, communicate performance to leadership, and take initiative in a fully remote capacity. Schedule is full-time, Pacific Time business hours.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience.
• At least 2 years owning email marketing end-to-end.
• Experience discussing revenue results and list growth.
• Experience with SMS platforms such as Attentive or Postscript.
• Working knowledge of Shopify and discount scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own overall email and SMS strategy and calendar.
• Build and QA campaigns in Klaviyo, 3–4 per week.
• Plan and ejecut SMS campaigns, 1–2 per week.
• Maintain and optimize automated flows (welcome, abandon cart, post-purchase).
• Coordinate ecommerce promotions calendar from planning to execution.
• Ensure promotions launch on Shopify on time.
• Prepare weekly performance reports for leadership.
• Communicate strategies clearly to non-marketing stakeholders.

Satellite Teams is looking for an experienced Email & SMS Marketing Manager to take full ownership of the company’s email and SMS marketing channels and ecommerce promotional calendar. This role will be responsible for developing the strategy, executing campaigns, optimizing automated flows, and driving measurable results.

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced Klaviyo specialist who understands ecommerce marketing, can independently manage the entire email and SMS channel, and is comfortable making data-driven decisions. This is an ownership-focused role—not simply a campaign execution position—and requires someone who can take initiative and communicate marketing performance clearly to leadership.

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time (US). This is a permanent schedule requirement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own the overall email and SMS marketing strategy, including campaign cadence, segmentation, automated flows, and testing roadmaps.
• Build, segment, schedule, and QA email campaigns using Klaviyo, typically 3–4 campaigns per week based on performance data.
• Plan and execute SMS marketing campaigns, typically 1–2 campaigns per week.
• Build, maintain, and continuously optimize automated flows, including welcome, abandoned cart, post-purchase, and winback campaigns.
• Manage the ecommerce promotional calendar from planning through execution.
• Track promotional deadlines, coordinate creative assets, confirm social promotions are scheduled, and ensure promotions launch on the Shopify website on time.
• Perform thorough QA for every campaign and promotion, including links, discount codes, mobile rendering, and scheduling.
• Manage and improve subscriber list growth, list health, and deliverability.
• Monitor email and SMS performance and identify opportunities to improve engagement and revenue.
• Prepare weekly performance reports that clearly explain activities, results, insights, and recommended changes to leadership.
• Communicate marketing strategies and performance in simple, easy-to-understand language for non-marketing stakeholders.
• Proactively identify opportunities for channel growth and optimization.
• Take full ownership of the email and SMS channel and establish priorities independently without requiring daily direction.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on Klaviyo experience, preferably supporting US-based ecommerce brands.
• At least 2 years of experience owning an email marketing channel end-to-end.
• Proven ability to discuss specific revenue results, including channel revenue contribution, flow performance, and list growth.
• Hands-on experience with SMS marketing platforms such as Attentive, Postscript, or similar platforms.
• Working knowledge of Shopify, including scheduling discounts, updating landing pages, and basic theme functionality.
• Strong understanding of email segmentation, automated flows, campaign strategy, testing, optimization, and deliverability.
• Excellent written English and the ability to clearly explain marketing decisions to non-marketers.
• Highly self-directed and proactive, with the ability to set priorities and work independently.
• Ability and willingness to permanently work 8:00 AM–5:00 PM Pacific Time.
• Reliable high-speed internet, backup power/internet solution, and a dedicated work setup.
• Experience in beauty or fashion ecommerce is a plus.
• Basic graphic editing skills using Canva or Figma are a plus.
