Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Email Marketing Specialist to manage and deploy daily to weekly email campaigns in a fast-paced, on-site role in Metro Manila. You will build campaigns with provided templates, ensure accurate audiences, test across devices, and monitor performance while coordinating with multiple brands.

The role requires 1–3+ years of experience, strong QA discipline, and proficiency with ESPs such as Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Mailchimp, or Braze.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of email campaigns or newsletters.
• Hands-on with major ESPs listed above.
• Strong QA discipline and attention to detail.
• Understanding of deliverability, testing, and formatting.
• Proficient written and verbal English.
• Experience supporting multiple brands or high-volume sends.
• Familiar with HTML email templates and tracking.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and deploy newsletters daily, weekly, and ad-hoc.
• Build campaigns using templates, content, and assets.
• Apply correct audience lists, segmentation, and suppression.
• Coordinate send times across brands and calendars.
• Verify subject lines, preheaders, sender details, and from-names.
• QA email formatting for desktop and mobile.
• Validate links, tracking params, and CTAs.
• Ensure correct ad placements and disclosures.
• Test emails internally and resolve issues before launch.
• Monitor delivery and flag deliverability concerns.
• Assist with basic performance reporting (open rate, CTR).
• Maintain logs, checklists, and documentation.
• Follow SOPs and communicate issues to stakeholders.

Your Role

As an Email Marketing & eNewsletter Operations Specialist , you will :

• Schedule and deploy daily, weekly, and ad-hoc newsletters and eDM campaigns
• Build email campaigns using provided templates, content, and creative assets
• Ensure correct audience lists, segmentation, and suppression rules are applied
• Coordinate send times and calendars across multiple brands or newsletters
• Verify subject lines, preheaders, sender details, and from-names
• QA email formatting across desktop and mobile
• Validate all links, tracking parameters, and calls-to-action
• Confirm correct ad placements, sponsored content, and disclosures
• Test emails internally prior to deployment and resolve issues before launch
• Confirm successful sends and monitor immediate delivery issues
• Identify and flag bounces, errors, or deliverability concerns
• Assist with basic performance reporting (open rate, CTR, delivery)
• Maintain send logs, checklists, and documentation
• Follow established email workflows and SOPs
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders when issues arise
• Manage multiple newsletters and deadlines simultaneously
• Ensure all campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and internal policies
  
  

What You Need

Non-negotiables

• 1–3+ years experience managing email campaigns or newsletters
• Hands-on experience with (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Braze, Mailchimp, Sailthru, Iterable, Campaign Monitor, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and QA discipline
• Understanding of email best practices (deliverability, formatting, testing)
• Comfortable working with calendars, deadlines, and checklists
• Proficient in English (written and verbal)
• Experience supporting multiple brands or high-volume sends
• Familiarity with HTML email templates (editing, not coding from scratch)
• Experience working with advertising-supported newsletters
• Knowledge of UTM tracking and basic analytics
• Prior experience working with distributed or offshore teams
