Job description

Electronics Engineer — Innosen Inc. (On-site, Pasig City)

Innosen designs and manufactures the precision sensors and quality-assurance instruments that canmakers use to keep every can they produce within spec. Our gauges sit on production lines in Europe, Asia and the Americas. The boards you design here end up in the hands of engineers who depend on them every shift.

We are looking for an Electronics Engineer to join our R&D team in Pasig. This is a hands-on, end-to-end role: you take a product from concept through schematic, layout, prototype and test, and stay with it into production. You will work alongside our mechanical and software engineers, and report to the Electronics Team Lead.

What you'll be doing
  • Design, build, test and document electronic products from prototype through to production release

  • Produce schematics and PCB layouts, and see them through fabrication and bring-up

  • Write and run board-level test firmware, and design the test procedures that prove a unit is fit to ship

  • Support component selection and sourcing, and run small-batch prototype builds

  • Program and operate our pick-and-place machine and 3D printers for in-house PCB production

  • Create and maintain the manufacturing and test documentation the production team works from

  • Work directly with the Mechanical and Software teams — our products are electronics, enclosure and firmware together, not in isolation

What you need to have
  • You will have electronics/ robotics as a hobby and will be able to explain your own designs

  • A degree in Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, or a closely related field

  • At least 2 years of hands-on experience as a hardware or electronics design engineer — please make sure your CV shows boards you have personally designed and brought up

  • Working ability in schematic capture and PCB layout (we use Proteus and KiCad; experience with either, or with Altium or Eagle, is fine)

  • Comfort with embedded development environments such as MPLAB, Arduino IDE or PyCharm

  • Confidence with lab instruments — oscilloscope, function generator, multimeter — for debugging your own designs

  • Clear written and spoken English; our customers and colleagues are international

  • Willingness to work on-site in Pasig City, five days a week

Nice to have
  • Analog and mixed-signal design, or sensor signal conditioning

  • Experience taking a product through EMC or safety compliance testing

  • Exposure to industrial or instrumentation products rather than consumer electronics

Who this role suits

This is a small, senior team. You will not be handed a fully specified board and asked to route it — you will be asked what the board should be. If you like owning a product, talking to the people who use it, and seeing your design go out the door with a serial number on it, you will do well here. If you are looking for a large-team specialist role with a narrow scope, this is probably not the right fit.

What we offer
  • Very competitive salary package

  • HMO on regularisation, with spouse coverage

  • Generous leave benefits

  • Continuous learning and development opportunities

  • A stable Filipino manufacturer selling to a global market

  • A collaborative office where engineering decisions are made by engineers

If you have a portfolio, a GitHub, or photos of boards you have designed, include them — we read them.
