Job summary

Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc. (Marine People Philippines) is seeking a competent Electrician with relevant seagoing experience, willing to be trained and expand knowledge onboard our technically advanced container vessels.

The Electrical Officer will assist the Electrical Engineer and perform duties related to reefers and electrical installations under supervision, contributing to safe operations and vessel reliability.

Qualifications

• 9 months seatime as Electrical Cadet/Junior Electrician on Container vessels
• 5 months seatime as independent Electrical Engineer on other vessels

Responsibilities

• Assist the Electrical Engineer in all responsibilities.
• Perform tasks related to reefers and electrical installations under direction of the Electrical Engineer and Chief Engineer.

Recruitment Criteria

• At least 9 months* seatime experience as Electrical Cadet/Junior Electrician on Container vessels
• At least 5 months seatime* experience as independent Electrical Engineer on other types of vessels

Key Responsibilities

• The Electricians are required to assist the Electrical Engineer in all his / her responsibilities.
• The Electrician must perform all tasks related to reefers and other electrical / electronic installations under direction of the Electrical Engineer and / or Chief Engineer.
