Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc. in Manila is seeking a competent Third Engineer with seagoing experience to join our voyage team on our technologically advanced container vessels.

The role involves engine room watch-keeping, assisting the Chief and Second Engineer, and ensuring safety, environmental practices, and lifesaving equipment are properly managed. Applicants should have at least 6 months seatime on UMS vessels with engines ≥20,000 BHP.

Qualificações

• Seatime of at least 6 months in rank on UMS vessels.
• Vessels with engine size of ≥20,000 BHP.

Responsabilidades

• Perform engine room watch-keeping duties as required.
• Carry out work routines in your area under the Chief/Second Engineer.
• Instruct and supervise safety, environmental protection, firefighting, and lifesaving equipment.
• Ensure briefing/debriefing to promote efficient teamwork and rest-hour compliance.

Maersk Filipinas Crewing Inc. (Marine People Philippines) is looking for competent Third Engineer with relevant seagoing experience, willing to be trained, challenged and expand their knowledge onboard our technically advanced container vessels with the best and latest machinery.

A key position in the engine department onboard one of the world’s largest Container shipping company where seafarers are onboarded and equipped to perform and contribute to deliver the vessel commitments. Seafarers are trained and guided in achieving their personal development and career advancement. Recruitment Criteria:

• At least 6 months seatime* in rank experience on vessels with UMS and minimum 20000 BHP engine size

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform engine room watch-keeping duties when required
• Perform work routines in his/her area of responsibility and as directed by the
  Chief Engineer and/or Second Engineer
• Instruct and supervise in the use of safety, environmental protection,
  firefighting and lifesaving equipment
• Understand the importance of briefing and debriefing to ensure efficient
  teamwork.
  - Ensure work and rest hour planning is done regularly and requirements are
  complied with. Bring any challenges in rest hour compliance to the attention
  of the Second Engineer and/or Chief Engineer
