Responsibilities

Polystar General Services Inc. is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrician to join our team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. This is a full-time position offering the opportunity to work with a dynamic organisation committed to delivering high-quality electrical services across diverse projects and installations. As an Electrician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all electrical systems are installed, maintained, and repaired to the highest standards, whilst adhering to safety regulations and industry best practices.

Key responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with safety codes and regulations
• Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical specifications to plan and execute installations
• Troubleshoot electrical problems using testing equipment and diagnostic tools to identify faults and implement solutions
• Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to ensure proper functioning and identify maintenance needs
• Perform preventative maintenance on electrical equipment to minimise downtime and extend operational life
• Install circuit breakers, transformers, switchboards, and other electrical components safely and accurately
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other trades personnel to coordinate work schedules and ensure timely project completion
• Maintain detailed records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects
• Ensure all work areas are kept clean and safe, disposing of waste materials appropriately
• Adhere to all health and safety regulations, wearing appropriate protective equipment at all times

What we're looking for

• Valid and current electrician licence or certification recognised in the Philippines
• Minimum 1-2 years of proven experience working as a qualified electrician in commercial, industrial, or residential settings
• Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety standards, and industry regulations
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and technical drawings
• Competence with electrical testing and diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, insulation testers, and circuit analysers
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve electrical issues efficiently
• Physical fitness and ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and in various weather conditions
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to work effectively with diverse project teams
