Job description

We are looking for a skilled Solar Engineer to join our growing team. This role is responsible for designing, estimating, and supporting the execution of solar PV projects—from residential rooftops to commercial and industrial systems. You'll work closely with our sales, procurement, and installation teams to ensure every system is efficient, safe, and built to last.

• Conduct site surveys and assess technical feasibility of solar installations
• Design solar PV systems including layout, string sizing, and inverter selection
• Prepare single-line diagrams, technical drawings, and bill of materials
• Coordinate with the installation team to ensure technical accuracy during execution
• Support commissioning, performance testing, and system troubleshooting
• Ensure all projects comply with local electrical codes and safety standards
• Provide technical documentation and assist in client presentations or proposals
• Stay updated on the latest solar technologies, standards, and tools

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
• Licensed EE (Registered Electrical Engineer) is highly preferred
• At least 2 years of experience in solar PV system design or related field
• Proficient in PV design software (e.g., Helioscope, PVSyst, AutoCAD, SketchUp)
• Solid understanding of grid-tied and hybrid systems
• Strong attention to detail and technical documentation
• Good communication skills and a collaborative attitude
• Willing to travel and conduct on-site inspections when needed
