Job summary

Our Clients in the Philippines seeks an experienced electrician to support on-site electrical systems across multiple projects. You will work independently, focus on safety, and keep work within code requirements.

Responsibilities include installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and coordination with supervisors; travel to project sites as needed and strict adherence to PPE and Philippine Electrical Code.

Qualifications

• TESDA NC II in Electrical Installation and Maintenance or a valid professional electrician's license.
• Experience as field/industrial electrician.
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams.
• Willingness to travel and work flexible hours.
• Physically fit to perform manual tasks and work at heights or in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment on sites.
• Read schematics and blueprints; interpret technical specifications.
• Conduct preventive maintenance checks on electrical systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues and perform timely repairs.

Job Summary

Electricians' role is central to keeping electrical systems safe, functional, and up to code across operations; Comfortable working independently on-site, has a strong foundation in electrical installation and maintenance, and takes pride in doing quality, safety-conscious work.

Key Responsibilities

Installation & Maintenance

• Install, inspect, and maintain electrical wiring, systems, and equipment across assigned work sites
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications
• Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks on electrical systems and equipment
• Assist in the setup, testing, and commissioning of new electrical installations as needed

Troubleshooting & Repairs

• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, performing timely repairs to minimize downtime
• Coordinate with supervisors and other field technicians to prioritize and complete daily tasks

Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical work complies with the Philippine Electrical Code and relevant safety regulations
• Practice and promote proper safety procedures, including the correct use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and any incidents or hazards observed

Site Coordination & Travel

• Travel to different project or work sites as required, following company travel protocols

Qualifications

• TESDA National Certificate II (NC II) in Electrical Installation and Maintenance, or a valid professional electrician's license
• Proven experience working as a field or industrial electrician
• Solid understanding of electrical safety standards and best practices
• Ability to read technical drawings and electrical diagrams
• Willingness to travel occasionally and work flexible hours as project needs require
• Physically fit and able to perform manual tasks, including working at heights or in confined spaces when necessary
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with minimal supervision
• Good communication skills for coordinating with team members and supervisors
