Job summary

ICCT Colleges Foundation Inc. on the Cainta Campus is looking for an Electrician to ensure the safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems that support MIS infrastructure.

You will work with IT and facilities teams to support upgrades, server rooms, UPS, and PDUs, and maintain accurate records of electrical work and safety compliance.

This role requires careful problem-solving and the ability to work independently in a campus IT environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of electrical maintenance experience, preferably in an IT or data center setting.
• Familiar with electrical systems for computers, servers, network gear, and backup power.
• Commitment to workplace and electrical safety protocols.
• Ability to work with IT and facilities teams to support deployments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for ensuring safe installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems that support MIS infrastructure.
• Collaborates with the IT team to support upgrades, moves, and emergency responses related to electrical systems.
• Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, outlets, and fixtures in IT areas, server rooms, and data centers.
• Ensure uninterrupted power supply to all MIS-related equipment, including UPS systems, backup generators, and PDUs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems supporting IT infrastructure.
• Assist with setup and relocation of IT hardware, ensuring electrical needs are met safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical issues affecting MIS systems and recommend upgrades or improvements.
• Work closely with IT staff to support network and hardware deployments with appropriate electrical solutions.
• Maintain accurate records of all electrical work, inspections, and maintenance related to MIS systems.
• Ensure compliance with electrical safety codes, regulations, and internal policies.
• Participate in IT and facilities planning related to expansion, upgrades, or relocations.
