Job summary

Meralco Industrial Engineering Services Corporation seeks an Electrical Supervisor to oversee planning, organization, implementation and control of the electrical unit at project sites in the Philippines.

Reporting to the Construction Manager, the role involves allocating resources, supervising installations, coordinating with teams, monitoring progress, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• At least two years of work experience as Electrical Supervisor/Engineer (preferably in substation or transmission line projects).
• Strong strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Plans, organizes and directs the activities of this unit.
• Prioritizes and allocates equipment, tools and manpower to his unit.
• Assists with electrical system installation, troubleshooting and repair as needed.
• Evaluates and monitors budget, productivity and work progress and takes preventive and/or corrective action.
• Coordinates with other groups on matters needed to ensure smooth interfacing of activities.
• Reviews and approves Daily Accomplishment Report submitted by foreman.
• Monitors and expedites delivery of needed logistics (material, manpower and equipment).
• Strictly enforces company rules and regulations, quality and safety policies.
