Job summary

Forsspac MBR Corporation is seeking an Electrical Section Lead to head the Electrical Design team and drive project delivery across industrial and infrastructure sectors. You will coordinate with clients, PMs and multidisciplinary teams to ensure designs meet standards and milestones.

The role requires a PE/REE, 10+ years in design consulting, and 3–5 years in leadership, with deep knowledge of MEPF systems and building codes.

Qualifications

• Registered Electrical Engineer or Professional Electrical Engineer (REE/PEE).
• 10+ years in design or consulting environment.
• 3–5 years in leadership/design management or supervision.
• Strong knowledge of MEPF services and systems design.
• Familiarity with international and local electrical/building codes.

• Oversee delivery of electrical design projects within quality, budget, and schedule constraints.
• Plan, organise and monitor design activities aligned with milestones and resources.
• Act as project team leader, coordinating with clients, PMs and multidisciplinary teams.
• Ensure electrical designs are fully coordinated, compliant and aligned with client needs and standards.
• Drive implementation and use of BIM and digital design tools.
• Manage engineering and digital design resources across projects.
• Mentor engineers and digital designers through coaching and performance management.

Electrical Section Lead:

Responsibilities:

• Lead, manage and develop the Electrical Design team
• Oversee the delivery of electrical design projects to ensure quality, budget, and schedule requirements are achieved
• Plan, organise, and monitor design activities in line with project milestones and resource plans.
• Act as project team leader on nominated projects, coordinating with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary design teams.
• Ensure all electrical designs are fully coordinated, technically compliant, and aligned with client requirements and applicable standards.
• Drive the implementation and effective use of BIM technologies and digital design tools.
• Manage engineering and digital design resources, ensuring efficient allocation across projects.
• Mentor and develop engineers and digital designers through coaching, training, and performance management.

Requirements:

• Electrical Engineering graduate, must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) or Professional Electrical Engineer (PEE)
• At least 10 years progressive work experience in Design/ Consulting Firm
• At least 3 to 5 years of experience in a leadership, design management, or team supervisory role.
• Well-developed working knowledge of MEPF Services and Systems design
• Working knowledge on various international and local Electrical and Building Codes and Standards
• Experience in industrial and infrastructure projects is an advantage

• Gross salary subject to negotiation based on experience
