Job summary

Philippine Span Asia Carrier Corp. (Manila) is seeking an Electrical Motor Technician to service, maintain, diagnose and repair AC/DC motors and related equipment. You will recondition, rewind, replace components and perform testing to ensure optimal operation.

The role requires strong skills in reading schematics, electrical testing and mechanical repair, with at least 3 years of relevant experience and strict adherence to safety practices including LOTO.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Vocational Training in a related field.
• Specialized motor operation courses (e.g., fractional horsepower, AC/DC).
• TESDA NC II in the Philippines.
• At least 3 years' experience servicing and maintaining electrical systems and equipment.
• Disassemble, repair and reassemble motors; test and recondition components.
• Read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics; diagnose problems with testing equipment.
• Follow safety procedures including lockout/tagout (LOTO).

Responsibilities

• In service, maintain, diagnose and repair AC/DC motors and related equipment.
• Perform reconditioning, rewinding and component replacement; test and troubleshoot.
• Inspect and analyze motors; run diagnostic tests and identify root causes.
• Document activities, parts used and repair recommendations.
• Ensure adherence to safety procedures and system protection practices.
