Job summary

Camox Philippines Inc - Poea-088-Lb-052915-R is seeking an experienced Electrical Technician to diagnose and repair electrical systems in vehicles and equipment. The role involves using diagnostic tools, reading wiring diagrams, and performing preventative maintenance to ensure reliability and safety.

You will install and service auxiliary electrical gear, maintain thorough records, and adhere to lockout/tagout and PPE requirements in a fast-paced workshop environment.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose electrical and electronic problems in vehicles and equipment, using diagnostic tools such as multimeters, test lights, and scan tools.
• Repair and replace faulty wiring, connectors, switches, relays, fuses, sensors, and other electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and repair lighting systems, starting systems, charging systems, ignition systems, and other electrical circuits.
• Work with wiring diagrams and schematics to trace circuits and identify faults.
• Install and repair auxiliary electrical equipment, such as lights, radios, and communication systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance inspections and services on vehicle electrical systems according to schedules.
• Inspect wiring, connections, and components for wear, damage, or corrosion.
• Test circuits and components to ensure proper operation.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including parts used, time spent, and diagnostic findings.
• Complete work orders and other required documentation.
• Adhere to all electrical safety regulations and procedures, including lockout/tagout procedures.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Maintain and care for assigned electrical tools and test equipment.
• Report any equipment malfunctions or needed repairs.
