Job summary

PeopleStrong is seeking an experienced Electrical Infrastructure Engineer to plan and design electrical systems for residential and commercial township projects in India. The role involves calculating loads, designing HT/LT networks, and coordinating with authorities to obtain load sanctions.

You will supervise installation, review vendor proposals, and prepare detailed BOQs while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• BE/B.Tech in Electrical or related field with strong understanding of MEP systems.
• Experience in planning and executing electrical infrastructure projects.
• Familiarity with HT/LT networks and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Plan and design electrical infrastructure for township projects.
• Prepare load calculations and load sheets per project needs.
• Develop HT/LT distribution layouts including substations and transformers.
• Coordinate with Liaison Teams and government authorities for approvals.
• Prepare documentation for electrical load approvals and permissions.
• Plan and supervise installation of HT/LT networks including cables, switchgear, and distribution panels.
• Manage installation and commissioning of transformers and substations.
• Ensure electrical systems meet safety, statutory, and technical standards.
• Prepare detailed BOQs for electrical infrastructure works.
• Assist in cost estimation and budget planning for electrical systems.
• Coordinate with electrical contractors and vendors for supply and installation.
• Review vendor proposals, technical specifications, and ensure compliance with project standards.
• Monitor contractor performance and manage vendor billing and certification.
• Verify contractor bills and work completion certificates.
• Maintain documentation related to electrical approvals, drawings, BOQs, and execution records.
