Measure, cut, bend, and install wires and conduits using hand and power tools.
Diagnose and trace electrical short circuits using testing equipment and meters.
Strip wire insulation, connect wires to terminals, and prepare electrical connections for soldering.
Inspect electrical units for loose connections or damaged insulation and perform necessary repairs.
Drill openings and route wiring through walls, ceilings, and conduits.
Assemble electrical controllers, panels, and support brackets using drills, saws, and other tools.
Maintain clean and organized work areas, tools, equipment, and supplies.
Transport tools, materials, and equipment safely to and from job sites.
Install grounding systems, conduit supports, and electrical hardware.
Disassemble and repair defective electrical equipment, replacing worn or damaged components.
Assist in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and transmission lines.
Perform soldering, welding, and torch-cutting tasks related to electrical work.
Dig trenches and break concrete to support electrical installations and repairs.
Set up scaffolds, hoists, barricades, and other job-site support structures.
Operate lifting equipment to position tools, materials, and electrical components.
Trim vegetation and maintain clear work areas along electrical right-of-way locations.
Assemble tower components and support structures using hand and power tools.
Paint and finish electrical-related structures, equipment, and components as required.
