Job summary

Digitally Intelligent Facility Systems Inc. is seeking an experienced lead electrical foreman to supervise installation, maintenance, and termination of electrical and auxiliary systems at on-site projects in the Laguna area.

You will manage electricians, welders, technicians, and helpers, ensuring safety standards, quality workmanship, and on-time delivery. On-site coordination, BOM preparation, and mentoring of staff are key aspects of the role.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, maintenance, and termination of electrical and auxiliary systems such as lighting, power distribution, CCTV, fire alarm, and communication systems in accordance with project specifications and safety standards.
• Lead manpower including electricians, welders, technicians, and helpers to ensure productivity and quality.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of workers; assign tasks and monitor performance to meet schedules and standards.
• Plan wiring diagrams, conduit layouts, and electrical panel locations; review drawings and specifications.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and procedures across all on-site activities.
• Monitor project progress; identify delays and implement corrective measures to maintain timelines.
• Troubleshoot electrical problems and diagnose issues to minimize downtime and maintain reliability.
• Train and mentor workers in safety protocols and job skills; provide on-the-job guidance.
• Ensure availability of materials and equipment by coordinating with procurement; prepare BOMs and material requests.
• Monitor the work of electricians to ensure compliance with design specs and electrical codes.
• Interpret wiring diagrams and schematics to guide installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Follow instructions from superiors to align tasks with project goals and company standards.
• Handle small projects with minimal supervision.
• Operate company vehicles for site mobilization.

Track project timelines and daily accomplishments, identifying potential delays or issues and implementing corrective measures to maintain project schedules.

Troubleshoot Electrical Problems and Diagnose Issues

Identify, analyze, and resolve electrical malfunctions and system faults efficiently to minimize downtime and maintain operational reliability.

Train and Mentor Workers in Safety Protocols and Job Skills

Provide guidance and on-the-job training to workers to enhance their technical skills, safety awareness, and overall job performance.

Ensure Availability of Materials and Equipment for Projects

Monitor inventory and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure all necessary tools, materials, and equipment are available on-site before work commencement.

Monitor the Work of Electricians to Ensure Quality Standards

Inspect and evaluate completed electrical works to confirm that installations meet design specifications, quality requirements, and applicable electrical codes.

Interpret Wiring Diagrams and Schematics

Accurately read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and electrical schematics to guide installation, troubleshooting, and maintenance activities.

Follow the Instructions of Your Superior

Comply with directives and instructions from engineers or project managers to ensure all tasks align with project goals and company standards.

Estimate Materials and Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and Material Requests

Prepare accurate estimates of materials needed for assigned works, and generate BOMs and material requisitions to support project execution.

Handle Small Projects with Minimal Supervision

Operate 4-Wheel Vehicles with Manual Transmission for Site Mobilization

Drive and transport personnel, tools, and materials to and from job sites using company-assigned vehicles to ensure smooth site operations.

Coordinate with Superiors for Workers’ Schedule

Communicate and align with project managers or engineers regarding work schedules, manpower allocation, and shift planning to optimize project flow.
