Job summary

JLL Cebu is seeking an Assistant Facilities Manager (Electrical Engineer) to oversee the operation, maintenance, and improvement of critical electrical systems within our client facilities. You will combine hands-on engineering with strategic facility management to ensure safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.

This on-site role requires a degree in electrical engineering, professional registration where applicable, and several years of experience in building services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline; professional qualification.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer or equivalent certification.
• 3–5 years in facilities management, building services, or technical maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, codes, and safety regulations (NEC/IEC/local equivalents).
• Ability to read electrical drawings, schematics, and technical docs.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems (HV/LV, transformers, generators, UPS, lighting).
• Perform regular inspections and testing to ensure safety and compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors for preventive maintenance and upgrades.
• Respond to electrical emergencies with rapid assessment and troubleshooting.
