Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline is required.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer or equivalent professional certification.
• 3–5 years of facilities management, building services engineering, or technical maintenance experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, NEC/IEC codes and safety standards.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and communicate technical concepts clearly.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems including HV/LV distribution, transformers, generators, UPS systems, and lighting infrastructure.
• Conduct regular inspections and testing to ensure safety and regulatory compliance.
• Coordinate with contractors for planned preventive maintenance, emergency repairs, and upgrades.
• Respond to electrical emergencies with rapid assessment and troubleshooting to minimize disruption.
• Maintain documentation of maintenance, test results, asset registers, and compliance records (CMMS).
• Support energy management by monitoring usage and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Collaborate on facility projects, renovations, and capital improvements requiring electrical input.
• Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and recommendations for management and clients.
• Mentor junior technicians and develop technical capabilities within the team.
