Job summary

Lemcon Philippines Incorporated is seeking a junior Electrical Engineer to design electrical systems and solar PV layouts. You will create schematics, select components, and ensure NEC/IEC compliance, working from office and lab environments with occasional field work.

The role emphasizes CAD-based design, troubleshooting, and collaborative problem-solving to support NOC projects and solar installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in System Design, CAD, and AutoCAD.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Office and laboratory settings with occasional field work.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical systems, devices, and components using CAD and simulation software.
• Develop schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings for projects.
• Diagnose faults and propose corrective solutions.
• Create electrical layouts for solar PV systems (panel orientation, string configuration, inverter placement).
• Calculate load capacities and ensure compatibility with existing electrical infrastructure.
• Select appropriate components (panels, inverters, batteries, transformers).
• Ensure adherence to NEC/IEC standards and local regulations.
• Electrical support for overall NOC projects.
• Design solar electrical systems.
• Plan layouts for panels, inverters, and wiring to meet load requirements.
• Oversee the setup of solar PV systems, ensuring proper connections and safety compliance.
• Check voltage, current, and power output; identify and fix faults in panels or inverters.
• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on solar equipment.
• Ensure safety and compliance.
• Follow electrical codes, renewable energy standards, and utility regulations.
• Prepare technical reports, system diagrams, and maintenance records.
