Job summary

Jacobs Engineering Group Inc. is seeking an Electrical Drafter to support the delivery of design solutions for major water and wastewater projects, working within the Power Infrastructure team across the APAC region.

As a CAD Drafter, you will develop Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Equipment Layout Drawings, collaborating with engineers and multidisciplinary teams to ensure project objectives, schedules and quality requirements are met.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microstation and Autodesk Revit.
• Experience preparing and maintaining engineering drawings to client, project and industry standards.
• Familiarity with Australian Standards, Water Corporation drafting requirements, and BIM/CAD best practices is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Interpret and implement electrical design information for water/power/energy infrastructure projects.
• Develop and coordinate Electrical Single Line Diagrams (SLDs) and Electrical Equipment Layout Drawings.
• Collaborate with engineers and multidisciplinary design teams to meet project objectives, schedules and quality requirements.
• Contribute to successful project delivery by meeting deadlines and client expectations.
• Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and support collaboration across globally integrated teams.
