Job summary

MicroSourcing is seeking an Electrical Designer with experience in MEP engineering design and consulting. You will develop electrical designs, prepare documentation, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure projects meet quality, schedule, and budget targets.

The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit, familiarity with NEC/NFPA standards, and strong collaboration across project teams. Night shift, work-from-home setup, with global client exposure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor in Electrical Engineering required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD MEP and Revit for design drawings.
• Master's in Mechanical Engineering considered a plus.

Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit for project design and implementation.
• Apply Building Codes, NEC, and NFPA standards.
• Develop power, lighting plans and riser diagrams.
• Conduct electrical load calculations and create panel schedules.
• Develop equipment and system specifications.
• Coordinate with owners, clients, architects, interior designers, and other consultants to produce coordinated contract documents.
• Communicate technical information clearly to stakeholders.
• Contribute to engineering reports for existing buildings.
• Review equipment and system submittals for project requirements.
• Respond to RFIs promptly and accurately.
• Complete MEP projects with quality, on schedule and within budget.

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer with experience in MEP engineering design and consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing electrical designs, preparing engineering documentation, coordinating with project stakeholders, and ensuring projects are delivered with a high level of quality, on schedule, and within budget.

Job Responsibilities

• Utilize AutoCAD MEP and Revit for effective project design and implementation.
• Apply in-depth knowledge of Building Codes, National Electrical Code (NEC), and NFPA Standards.
• Develop comprehensive power plans, lighting plans, and riser diagrams.
• Conduct electrical load calculations and create panel schedules.
• Develop equipment and system specifications.
• Collaborate and coordinate with owners, clients, architects, interior designers, and other consultants to create coordinated contract documents.
• Communicate technical information clearly and effectively to various stakeholders.
• Contribute to engineering reports for existing buildings.
• Review equipment and system submittals to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Respond to Requests for Information (RFIs) promptly and accurately.
• Complete MEP engineering projects with a high level of quality, on schedule, and within budget.

Qualifications

Required

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Ability to use AutoCAD MEP and Revit to produce design drawings.

Preferred

• Master's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in the development of MEP engineering designs and consulting.
• Hands‑on expertise in electrical equipment maintenance and installations, with a strong understanding of industry best practices.
