Job summary

The role involves preparing SLDs, layouts, BOMs, and cost estimates, collaborating with project engineers and contractors, and supporting execution with thorough documentation and design reviews.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• Experience in electrical design, preferably power systems, substations, or transmission projects.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, ETAP or similar tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical skills.
• Excellent communication and coordination abilities.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality engineering design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and prepare electrical designs, including single-line diagrams, layouts, and detailed engineering drawings for power systems.
• Perform load calculations, system studies, and technical analysis to ensure optimal and efficient system performance.
• Review and interpret project specifications, ensuring all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Prepare technical specifications, BOM, and cost estimates for project proposals and execution.
• Coordinate with project engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and smooth project implementation.
• Provide technical support during project execution, including addressing design-related issues and revisions.
• Conduct design reviews and ensure quality control of all engineering deliverables.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations in all design outputs.
• Maintain organized documentation of design files, calculations, and revisions.
