Job summary

WSP in Manila seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to join its Building Services - Design team. You will lead electrical system design for buildings and coordinate with partners locally and internationally to deliver high quality projects.

The role requires a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of relevant experience, with REE being a plus. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit (Electrical), and other design tools is important.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 7+ years of experience in electrical design roles.
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for building services and related systems.
• Manage drawings records per QA procedures.
• Coordinate with local and foreign affiliates and clients.
• Collaborate with other design disciplines and manage outputs.
• Attend meetings and support management requests.
• Assist in training and development of subordinates.
• Use electrical software and 3D modelling to develop designs.
• Perform other duties as required by management.

Job description

WSP, a world leading management and consultancy firm, is seeking Electrical Design Engineer to join their Building Services - Design team.

The fast-paced firm is rapidly expanding, and this is a great opportunity to join a dynamic team of design and drafting experts who will support your growth and development.

What You'll Do:

• Responsible for the Electrical design of building services and associated systems of work.
• Manage and maintain the record of all incoming and outgoing drawings from the office in accordance with WSP QA procedures.
• Liaison with WSP personnel and WSP’s partners both local and foreign affiliates and clients.
• Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines of the design team.
• Manage and control outputs in accordance with the design work program.
• Attend meeting when required.
• Carry out any assignments that will be given from time to time by the management.
• At all times exhibit behaviour, consistent with that of a professional member of WSP.
• Assist with the training and development of subordinates.
• Assist in multidisciplinary project activities.
• Use of electrical software and 3D modelling to develop electrical system designs.
• Other duties as required by management from time to time.

What We'll Love About You:

• Bachelor of Science or Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 7 years of experience in a similar capacity
• Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is a plus
• Knowledge in Bluebeam Revu, Autocad , Revit (Electrical System), Section J6, PowerCad-5, AGI and Dialux
• Knowledge in Lightning, Power, Security and Data Lay-outs Schematic Design and Single Lines
